Will do.  I found a pack of paperclay that I had bought at last year's Ceramics event in hatfield.  It had dried out...but I have soaked it, and it looks to me as tho I might have reconstituted it.  (I did ceramics for a while, wasn't patient enough to wait for all the drying times and then the kiln time at college, used to take three months before I saw a finished piece).   I will see how I get on.  I did make a bowl shape out of regular clay but forgot to put the holes in it....

Really great info from Terri - thanks - I was just putting off doing something about making moulds, so now I'll have a go!
