Yes i did try that but it is more when I download it to a spreadsheet knowing what the colour is then.  Well probably go back though it and add to the comments section,  but if there was a separate column in the spreadsheet I could sort my colour and then I would know if I needed more reds or blues etc.

I did wonder about adding it in the Italian Name for colour section that way it would be in it own colum and then it would be sortable.

HH on Bulk,

Sarah A

I would love to have a look at this but when I try and open the zip it says windows can't open the file - does anyone have ideas why etc?  Thanks

Krysia@No98

Do you have 'access' the database program?

elburnzo

you can download a free version of access if u dont already have it which will allow u to use this file

Sarah A

I do have access but it is 2003 so don't know if this is the problem.

Krysia@No98

that might be the problem as I think some one was saying it's a later version.  Have a look and see if you can get the freebe version.  Don't be tempted to get a pirate copy as this will be likely to be full of viruses and porn

I hope this is not being cheeky but wondered if anyone has an unzipped copy of the stashmaster database they wouldn't mind emailing me. I don't like to download stuff off the net because of viruses. I would be really grateful if anyone can help.

I am wanting to get organised and label my glass rods.

Thanks

I do, but the only email address I have is the work one and they have made it so that we can't email databases... and don't get me started as to how much of a pain in the bum that one is when you work with databases and use access as a front end for people and you can't email it to them... chunter, chunter...

This sounds like a brilliant idea.
Downloading it now to have a play.
Thanks

Thanks to who ever started this.   I've just got hold of a copy of Access 2010 and downloaded the database, and I'm having great fun playing with it.  Needed a full copy - programmer of nearly 50 years experience here, who loves playing with things.   And just thought I'd mention that you don't actually need WinZip to open the files.   Right click on the zipped file in Explorer, and select the 'Extract All' option, and it does it all for you.

There are a surprising number of technical bods on here.  Especially seeing as us techie women aren't that numerous
