Guidelines for using this board
·   Frit Happens is a great place to buy or sell items and all active members are invited to list items for sale in the appropriate section.

·   These guidelines are designed to ensure that sales agreed on FH go ahead smoothly but please remember that any agreement to buy or sell items is between the seller and the buyer. Frit Happens plays no part in the sale and cannot negotiate between the buyer and seller if something goes wrong.

·    Please be honest, open and fair at all times. If you agree to something then you should honour that commitment or explain clearly why you have not been able to do so.

·   We suggest that you keep copies of any emails or PMs discussing the sale until it is completed successfully.

Sellers

·   You should follow the advertising guidelines  when you offer an item for sale.

·   Your description of an item for sale must be accurate and honest; you should describe the postage costs or collection arrangements.

·   Please do not sell items that have been received as part of a giveaway, PIF or elsewhere from other member. If you no longer need them, pass them on to another member.

·   You should say what your preferred payment method is (paypal, cheque, cash etc) and when you expect to be paid.

·   Please say whether you have listed the item in other places (other forums, etsy, ebay etc) and how buyers should respond (personal message, email etc)

·   Once your item has sold, please either delete the thread, or edit the title to say it's no longer available.



Buyers

·   Take care when responding to all adverts – make sure that you trust the seller. You might want to check previous posts and any ebay or etsy history before you commit to a purchase. Just because a seller is an FH member it doesn't mean that they are well known in the community. And remember that some people join our community simply to sell to us.

·   Please follow the seller's instructions and ensure that you pay promptly.

·   Please let the seller know when the item has arrived.
