Hi guys!  Was messing around with Effetre Purple Red and Reinenbach Silver Brown and was suprised to get these wonderful purple colours....Have tried photographing from all angles but it doesn't do it justice really, but in the flesh it gives Double Helix a run for its money and at half the price!!!  Base Bead Effetre Purple Red topped with Silver Brown Reduced and encased with Clear...simple?!  This is probably not a 'new' discovery but I just thought I would share as it is such a pretty purple!

Somebody else posted this combo a couple of years ago, should be around somewhere, but your beads with it are gorgeous!  I love seeing silver brown promoted, it seems such an undervalued glass.  Try silver brown in a twistie with kugler silver brown, reduced and encased or not, lovely.

Sorry, lost the pics on my spare drive, so only have the etsy link!

Funny this resurfaced as I was playing with silver brown on Monday, the best was over 044 (dark amythyst), need to find the bead now in my enormous mound from Monday!  I was thinking of SB over red and then changed my mind at the last moment, next time I get out there will have a go at this as the colours are rather me!  I love SB too Sue, but up until Monday it had gone off me for a bit (about a year ago I made some lovely ones with it and then lost the knack somehow!).
