Worth my weight in glass....

WWW
« on: June 13, 2010, 10:15:28 PM »

Hi all
I have had this new board created for anyone to post their lampwork recipes e.g. any special reactions you have achieved (planned or accidental) that you would like to share with FHers.
The idea is just to post a photo and a brief description of the ingredients and the recipe i.e. the how to of getting the reaction.
It's not meant to be a show and tell; just a record of some interesting recipes - so comments on people's recipes posted can be added but these will be edited out after a suitable period of time to ensure that users don't have to wade through loads of stuff to get to the pictures/recipes.
OK - it's open to everyone, so feel free to get posting!

You mean like the Corina NOT Witchcraft Challenge? http://www.gemfox.com/corinabeads/challenge/cc_challengeGallery.aspx?challengeID=12

This could be a fantastic resourse for FH and the lampy world.  When Corina did the challenge there were a lot fewer glass colours and ranges around and these days the sky's the limit as far as reactions and recipes go.  This could be very interesting and fun!  Great idea Grin

That is a great resource Sam, thanks for posting the link. I think this board is going to become an utterly fabulous resource over time and I am very excited about it, great idea Kaz  Kiss

Do you think there could be a section on how to avoid combinations that produce 'poo on a stick'!

As a beginner I would find that very handy, Sheila.  Cheesy
