Can I run a Hot Head on Propane?

Whoa!  That's a whopper Clare - have fun shifting it when it's full.   Glad you got a bargain though.

Bulk propane will burn very slightly dirtier than MAPP if you have the torch going at full pelt, but as long as you remember to turn the HH down a little, you'll be ok and not notice the difference.  It's much better, no more freezing up, running out etc.  And you get a few hours warning as the pressure drops that you are about to run out, unlike half way through a bead on MAPP.
