Hi there

I made some basic pink beads (transparent) on Saturday with some white dots on them - pretty standard stuff.  When I etched them, the bead release has made the edges of the white dots go a sort of rusty brown colour in some places, and no matter how hard I scrub the colour won't come off.

My bead release is at the stage where it's starting to look like Cola.  Do you think this is why?  Should I be replacing it?

Thanks

Mine looks like cola but I haven't noticed it discolour any beads  ???

i always clean my beads before etching .......or did you mean the etch fluid is like cola ?

Lush!

I'm assuming you mean etching fluid, not bead release?

I don't think my etching fluid has ever affected the colour (in a bad way!) even when it gets a bit old and cola-looking.

Any chance of a pic?
