I've known about this site for a while now....(sorry I didn't pass it on)
If you are interested in colour schemes there is also a site that allows you to search photographs by colour...
http://yotophoto.com/advancedsearch
Just type in a hex colour value...or select the colour from a selector box, and it will return pictures that contain this colour.
For example if you want to find "Orange" pictures just search with the colour value of FF6600 (hex for orange)
http://yotophoto.com/search?clr=FF6600

Or as most people here like blue/purple...
http://yotophoto.com/search?clr=924DEC

Once you get the hang of it it's very useful, and best of all... almost all the pictures are royalty free...so you can use them, allows you to find pictures to use on your web site etc...

This isn't a colour scheme generator, but I bought this book for myself after Christmas....Collins Artist's Colour Manual

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Collins-Artists-Colour-Manual-Jennings/dp/0007232136/ref=sr_1_1/203-3453328-5350360?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1176212787&sr=8-1

It's a great book with lots of info about colours, where pigments come from, and different painting media.
And it's full  of lovely colour.
