I know I have seen the answer on the board somewhere I have looked ( probably not as well as I should have done)  can I run my kiln safely using an extension lead permanently? Or should I try and move my table and kiln back to nearer the socket

I would just warn not to share the socket with anything else with a high load. Ie don't put the kiln on a 4 gang with kettle, heater etc .but if it's the kiln on it's own, will be fine

Sound advice all round I say ;)

Can you rename your thread along more specific lines something like....Can I run my kiln off an extension lead. It will make it easier for others to find this info
