Stopping the kiln

My gas run out with one lonely bead in the kiln can i take it out and put it in bubbles or would i be better leave it in the kiln overnight i think a worth keeping bead. Not sur about turning the kiln off at this point in the programme its at garaging just now, its a bead cube.
Why does the gas always run out at the worst time i've had suxh a crap day and was just syarting to feel better with torching when putt putt it went.

The cube's so cheap to run, I'd just hit up and let it finish its annealing programme.
