Tuffnells do a splitter thingy. I think you can get them to connect two torches or three.

You could also just hook up a quick release to the tank hose - and it's compliment to the hose of each of the torches.  That is what I have for one of my torches that I use as a demo - so I can unhook it from the table, and set it up easily at my demo station. This would only allow you to use one at a time - but I am assuming you aren't soldering and lampworking at the same time!  Local welding shop should be able to help you out.

this is going to sound really stupid what with me having a hot head, but I was really surprised at how loud the silver torches are

The bullfinch and sievert torches can roar as good as a hothead dependant on which nozzle you put on.
The hothead makes a great brazing torch for brass too.

I use a smiths little torch which is a propane oxy mix and thats real quiet.

Hi

One of the torches I use is a Clarke CBT1 Butane Gas Torch Kit. A great little torch for silver soldering that is filled from a butane lighter refill so no complicated connections. Here is the link

half way down the page.

Other than that the Y splitter would be the best option.

Martin Tuffnell made up a Y splitter for me, with quick release couplings on each arm, so I can easily switch between running one or two torches at once, but it worked out a bit pricey. If you don't need both torches connected at the same time, I would put each one on a quick release, so you can plug them in and out one at a time.

I have two torches running of one tank using a Y splitter bought from my local welding shop in Staines. You will also need three hose nuts and hose nipples and a hose nut to hose nut coupling. You could spend a bit extra and get a Y splittter with integrated valves. Propane connectors should all be left hand thread (LH).
