Help I'm a real newbie, have just started making beads, two days worth, not
perfect but getting there I think, the problem I have is that when I try to use
tools on the glass they seem to get stuck,  I'm obviously doing something wrong
perhaps too hot, too cold or maybe I need special tools, mine are stainless, please
can anyone help.

Bumpy Beads

Hi Suzanne - the secret it to use the tools out of the flame. If they get hot you can dip them in a jar of water to quench them before using them again. Brass tools are the best kind as you'll find the glass is much less likely to stick.

Don't forget to show us your beads.  ;)

And welcome to FHF!

Dragonfire Glass

Also, if they do get stuck, come out of the flame, let it cool and the tool should come free. The metal cools quicker than the glass so the glass releases it  :)

Hi!  Nice to meet you ;D

I only joined a short time ago but Iv learned how to post pics

You need to join photbucket or flikr or one of those type of sites and upload your pics into an album...

Then when you want to post you use the [IMG] link text between two [IMG] symbols - copy it into your post and your pic should appear on the forum...
