Hi Sarah, I hope you're feeling much better and recovering nicely!   That's not a bad idea, I was thinking it should be stainless steel or it might not stand the heat but I might look up the melting temps and give it a go - I'll let you know how I get on!  Enjoy the sunshine while you're taking your enforced rest

Hi Lisa, thank you, I'm getting on really well. Pity about the lack of sunshine, but hopefully I'll actually be able to negotiate the steps down to the garden by the time the sun comes.

I thought the mesh you use was stainless, or at least something that you already use for your fusing?
