Batch annealing on As You Go schedule

Apologies if this has been covered in one of the many extension annealing threads but I can't seem to find it 

I would like to Batch Anneal beads as part of my normal 'as you go' annealing schedule. Effextively I would like to place a whole load of unannealed beads into my kiln, ramp fairly slowly (700 is my normal speed), then let the program hold while I make beads and pop them straight into the kiln, with the batch beads. At the end of the session I would then move the program on as normal and at the end would have a whole load of annealed beads, some straight from the flame, others from cold.

I have done this already with one little bead and it seemed to work fine.

Does anyone see any reason why I shouldn't do this, as long as I ramp the cold, unannealed beads slowly?

I have done this many times, Donna! No problems - just make sure you don't touch a new very warm bead to any of the beads already in the kiln, in case they stick together.

I couldn't see why I shouldn't but thought I should check before annealing anyone else's beads!!
