Smiling at your breathless account - we've all been there... the excitement, the thrills and spills, the postman (!).

A new tub of  bead release usually needs diluting to get a good consistency, and if you want a thin coating pull the mandrels out sloooooowly...

Can't wait to see your first bead successes .

Ivory does that. if you want a smoother creamier ivory colour use the light, if you want more of the marbley caremel yum-ness, use the dark. dark is also more reactive when you put it with stuff like turquoises. 

Ah, that explains the interesting (and actually I think) rather lovely effect I have on my turquoise bead I made last week with ivory dots on!

Instead of stiring, pop 4 or 5 beads in the pot and shake it to smitherenes (sp?)  much faster!  with the top on too
