silver stringers

what glass and what colours can you foil for silver stringers ...i have only seen it used on a white/cream base.......is this because its the only combination that works or can i make other coloured 'dry stone walls '

I`ve seen coral glass used with silver foil as a stringer over on black glass (I think it was Hades) that looked pretty stunning, not tried any other colours myself though.

I have also seen it with rubino oro.

I like it with EDP but its brittle.

Coral is brilliant. Effetre avocado is a good one for tree trunks. Must have a play and try some more.

Electric avenue, wrapped in lashings of silver and used without pulling into a stringer is gorgeous!

if fact - I'm off to make some beads, now I've just reminded myself of it!
