As the winner of the October challenge draw I get to choose November's theme - watercolour effect. I hope you approve...if not, you can post some boo-messages and I'll change the subject... :)
There are a few tutorials out there (and on FHF), but you should not feel limited by the methods described in them - it's your own take on watercolours we'd like to see :) It can be abstract, flowers, landscapes, anything that takes your fancy.

Well, this one would be a challenge for me, at least. I've wanted to try to make a watercolour effect bead (or two). Hopefully I'll get some time to play this afternoon now that kids are back to school after half term....

Not fantastic and not cleaned, inspired by the changing leaf colours and seedy aeroplanes from a tree in my garden. They're a bit waterycoloured I thought.
