Title: Setting up a Hot Head Torch
Post by: Lush! on May 08, 2008, 02:54:25 PM
When I got my Hot Head I really struggled to work out how to actually make it stand up - I wish I'd found this picture last August!

(photo cropped to protect the innocent, pinched from http://www.tlddesigns.com/lampworkclass.htm - I know its small, sorry!)

Equipment list:

Hot Head torch
Can of Mapp Gas
Extra large coffee can, filled with sand
Baking sheet

Look mum, no hands  ;D ;D ;D

that may even help the freezing up problem too as the sand will insulate the cylinder!! good job!!
