Title: Peacock stringer
Post by: dianaeast on November 10, 2016, 06:22:11 PM
Does anyone have any recipes for peacock stringers? Anouilh uses them a lot. It may be similar to recipes for shards so if anyone knows how to make them - which glass to put over what it might be a help. I'm wondering if stiffer Riecenbach with softer effects over the top might work - any thoughts?

Most of the mottle shards are something over raku.   Try encasing raku with different colours - copper green; turquoise, cobalt, etc, pull into a stringer, apply and heat well - then  see what you get.

Sounds intriguing! I'm also wondering who is Anouilh? :)

That's a really pretty effect.

I think 'Anoulh' might be Anouk (Jasperse).
