Title: Tyres same size....
Post by: Sheena on June 09, 2016, 05:09:13 PM
Hi,
I'm in awe of the sets of small spacer beads that all seem to be identical in width and shape. Are these artists using a bead roller to get this or are they just really well practiced?

You can get rollers but actually it's pretty easy to do if you just make all the spacers on the same mandrel.

That way you can "eyeball" the ones you've already made and use them to make the next one the same size.

Provided you don't go back and reheat any of the spacers once you've made them, you can make loads on the same mandrel - I think some people have managed 16 or so!
