Title: Bead Loops
Post by: richardnash666 on May 02, 2016, 09:32:41 PM
Have found some beads on cookson gold and was wondering how to insert the metal loops

Eg http://www.cooksongold.com/Beads/Lamp-Glass-Leaves-Colourless-With-Loop-11mm-Pack-of-2-prcode-61GL-L056

Would you just glue them on or is there a more magic way.

Doing this from my phone so hopefully the paste of the link is OK.  If not will redo the link in the morning

I think you would make them like the lampwork headpins then bend the wire to make the loop. This link is a tutorial  but I would recommend using a holder for the wire as you work or it could get very hot.

Thanks for the info. Kinda thought it would be more complex.

Do like the warning that if the wire gets hot it is on the flame  :)
