Title: Silver foil

Can someone please advise how I can get a lovely sparkle effect using silver foil each time I roll it on the bead and then burn it off i do get sparkles but also it discolours the glass thanks folks!

Are you using colours that react with silver?
I don't know all the reacters, but the Bullseye chart is a help. Warm yellows, ambers and some greens react.

I used to get this sometimes ... I thought  I was catchingit in the flame, someone else said  it was the temp of the flame ... it needs to be cooler.

Another way is to use palladium .... it is easierto works with and has a great shimmer.

Ahhhhh yeeees cooler flame....I'm using it over transparent blue and also over CIM Kryptonite  Will try that
