Post by: EllaBee on August 27, 2015, 08:48:51 PM
Hi,
I have just received a beadcube second-hand but it has arrived with no KCR2 controller, anyone know what affordable option is out there suitable so I can anneal beads.

Thanks

Carla

Contact kilncare for a controller

Hi Carla, there are not a lot of options I'm afraid as the KCR2 is quite unique in that it has it's own socket outlet for the kiln to plug into. Conventional controllers will not fire the Bead Cube without some wiring and hardware additions.

Do you have the thermocouple?

No, have been mis-lead, was an e-bay purchase. I assumed a 'working' kiln would include everything that it needed to work. Hopefully I can send it back and then just buy a new one from you guys, at least then I will have the warranty and back up support.

Thanks
