Title: regulator settings

hi my grandson came to visit and what with lolly being put down we kinda wasn't watching him properly and he messed about with the regulator knob on my propane tank
I cannt remember the exact setting it should be on
im using a hothead if that makes a difference

help please im talking about the knob thing that's not on the tank but on the hose next to the knob on the tap the one that can already set with the hose from tuffers please help

Open it fully then turn back 1/4 to 1/2 a turn, it will be fine!

thats what I do for the one ON THE TANK  this one has numbers and is the other one not on the tank

Light the torch, see what happens. If the flame looks ok then it's fine. If not then adjust the regulator knob until it gives a good flame. Sorry, long time since I used my hothead :D

The knob on the top of the tank should be full on so in an emergency there is only one way to go.

The big one with numbers that is near the screw in bit to the tank, the regulator, as Gems says, turn full on and then back a bit.
