Title: Gaffer & Reichenbach on a Hothead?
Post by: Lynnybobs on April 12, 2013, 01:46:57 PM
Does anyone with a HotHead use these at all?
They have such lovely colours in the ranges but I have never used anything other than effetre and bit of CiM on my HH so don't know if they would work OK as they have a lower COE.

I think you'd be fine. They are a teeny bit stiffer than Effetre, but really not by much.

These rods are only a little bit stiffer than the CoE 104 so you should be absolutely fine using a hothead x

the only thing i will say is that over time i have managed to reduce nearly every gaffer colour to a metallic finish and i was there for a while waiting for i to melt.
but good luck :)

The part of the flame closer to the torch its more reducing on a hh, so if you find colours reducing work a little further out x

Some colours are quite soft. And Caroline has some canes that are thin, why not drop her a note when you order x
