Sorry if this question is a dumb one :-[ ... I'm just wondering if it's possible to get the same effects of DH glass by making stringers from silver foil/leaf & various transparent glass, then using them in the same way (cooling/heating sequence etc). Or are they manufactured in a totally different way, with very different glass etc? Just asking!
I have used lots of different colours of stringers and shards with silver leaf and foil and the effects are quite different to DH silver glass, but still pretty. Janet
What a good question! You'll have to experiment and show the results :)
Try silver with dark transparent glass like cobalt, dark purple or a deep green - you'll get some nice effects!
