Hi Wendy Woo.  I use structural epoxy adhesive There's one which takes 24 hours to set properly, though it hardens in a few hours, and one which sets in about 5 minutes, but needs a bit longer to gain full strength.  Warmglass stock both.

Hi Wendy

Glue is brought up many times on the forum, and you'll probably find the camp is divided.  As suggested here, the jewellery tips is the place where this subject is often discussed.

You can use the search box in the top right of your screen - but make sure you're at the top level of the forum, or the search will only work on the specific boards section you're in.  Worth a read to get the mixture of results.
