Title: Beaded crochet for me hols.
Post by: ★★Terri★★ on July 03, 2012, 10:50:05 PM

Am off on holiday tomorrow and I just finished this today. #6 Muyiki beads

Took me a while to crack the technique - I seem to have developed of technique whereby I hold my crochet between my thumb and first finger and this needs thumb and index finger - so it felt really wierd at first and my fingers were doing that 'pat your head and rub your tummy thing' and going all over the place.  But PPP paid off.

Did a bracelet as well but a bit slimmer and shorter - you get the idea ;D  All in all just a shade under 100 grams of beads.

Next project - smaller beads!

Edited to add - BTW - it's a necklace :D

Love it.  I have problems with crochet which used to drive mum mad, she was great and even crocheted a dress for me in the 60's.  Best of luck with the smaller beads.
