Am attempting to make another piece for a competition... it is small, fiddly, technical, monochrome and driving me mad >:(
So have been giving myself lots of colour therapy in between!
I found these dichroic cylinder beads in my 'ludicrously expensive components' box, plus a donut pendant I didn't know I had, so I made some beaded spacers for the pendant and some beaded leaves for some earring pairs of dichro beads that were lurking in the same box :)

I made a green 'Marie Antoinette' collar for a commission (love this pattern, it grows so quickly because it's mostly holes!)

I bought some new seed beads at my LBS, including some colours I hadn't used before, and had fun remaking another old pattern so I could re-photo the finished piece for the tutorial listing...

Then I got wondering whether it would be possible to shape the linked daisychains into a curve like my right angle weave 'Saxon' collars. Well, yes, it is...

...although the top edge flopped around horrendously and I had to try two different bodged solutions before finally figuring out (in my sleep!) how to solve the problem. This one still isn't perfect but the next one will be better ;D
Also bezelled a button for a swap gift (apologies for lousy photo)

And discovered that I can bead one of these cuffs while watching a footie match on telly with the family - I love multitasking! ;D

Oh, and I went to an 'extreme beading' workshop with the incomparable Laura McCabe recently and came home and made this.

It's a Vicious Circle ;D
I think my new direction may be 'dangerous'. You have been warned... :P
A new direction in self defence jewellery....? One minute a pendant next minute a lethal weapon... :)
Stunning work!
They are all wonderful !
I do love your vicious circle though :D :D
Wonderful! :)
Gorgeous, you have been busy :)
You have got some lovely colourways going on there, and the vicious circle is something else!!!!
Your vishus sercle ROCKS, you are so twisted :-*
Wow what lovely stunning work. Love the change of direction so unusual.
Love the vicious circle -what a fab idea. The top earrings and pendents are totally stunning - love the colours. Beautiful work Lynn. :)
Wow, really lovely, especially that last piece- it floats my boat!
I laughed when I saw your last piece, quite a contrast to your other "stuff". Immediate thought was, could you substutute multicolour thick stringer fused into the same shape as the pins and then seed bead around that. Don't know if it's doable, just my odd brain taking off.
Great minds think alike Pat - I have a mad lampworker contemplating making dangerous glass components for me even as we speak ;)
