I bought some frit of this and made some into stringer and tried it out on some beads of the recommended copper containing glasses, and it just melted in. No reaction. Thinking that I might be over-working it, I then tried it out by melting the frit gently on the tip of a rod. Still nothing. Has anyone else tried this? Am I doing something wrong, or have I got a mis-labelled bag? (looks translucent white, with a very slightly blue tint).
Would be glad to hear anyone else's experiences.
Thanks!
The conditions under which reactions take place have not been fully explored but there is a wealth of information and technical support from Bullseye on their Technical forum here:

If you post your question on here, I am sure you will get a speedy reply back.

Thanks Pippa
I'll try them.

Hi Pippa
I tried asking the forum. You can see the replies there.

Thanks for the feedback Julia. I have put the link below so that others on here can read about the reactive glasses and flameworking:

Just to tidy this up. I put the frit through the kiln later, on glass, on a fusing programme, and the reaction occurred. So it is something to do with the conditions during flameworking not suiting the development of the reaction.
thanks for this, i was just about to order the powder to use in flameworking to try the reactions, what a pity it doesn't work.
