Hiya ... I just thought I'd let those of you who don't know, that you can apply to become a member of British Lampwork http://www.britishlampwork.co.uk/ (http://www.britishlampwork.co.uk/) for that extra bit of internet exposure :)
Su explains it better than I can on their website ...
"Apply to Participate – 2012-2013
On offer is a chance to have a well-established presence online via the British Lampwork site. You will have your own individual page, with a link on the main page of the website with a short bio, links to your online social sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr and a link that will provide a click-through to your site.
That's it. We don't sell your beads for you, handle customer complaints, manage your website or anything else."
It also feels quite classy, being a member :D
There's a link to apply on the front page ... deadline for new applications is the end of Feb (29th, I presume ... I think it's a leap year)
Les, how much is the fee to join? Unless I'm being thick, I can't see it stated anywhere?
£15 per year, IIRC :)
I don't think I'm grownup enough yet :(
Thanks Les, have contacted them :)

I don't know, to be honest Kat ... Why not drop em a line and ask ?
Thanks Les...just left an expression of interest in joining on their site. Must say it's not too visually captivating at first glance though...it would be nice to see some stunning pictures of beads somewhere!
Since my NYR is to stop being so self-deprecating, I've emailed them. I'll let them decide if I'm good enough or not. Thanks Les.
I've asked, will let you know the response :)
I've just sent my application, so we'll see!
