Hi!
This time I made a video showing how to make this kind of bead:

Hope you like it and would love to read your comments and suggestions.
Verena
How funny is that, I just wrote the very same tutorial and was just waiting for the other half to take the photos! Ach well, on to the next thing I guess ;D
Thank you for sharing!
Oh, I am sorry! But I am sure many people prefer a written tutorial that they can print out and have beside the torch.
No worries, I'll just show the beads I made instead ;D
Verena, love it, thanks for posting this.
Vick, still do the tute angel, like verena said, some people like printouts (I'm one of them!!!)
OK, will do :)
Started a gallery thread for you Verena ;D
For us both, Vicki! Thanks!
Thank you Verena, I enjoyed watching your video. Very clear photography. :)
very clear, thank you for sharing.
Just wondering what sort of torch are you using? It seems to melt glass 10 times faster than my minor!
Hi!
No, it doesn't. I just edited out the boring bits...
I use a Carlisle Hellcat.
That's very cool!
Great video - thank you

I wondered this as well.....it makes my hothead look so slow!
Thanks for sharing.
Well, in comparison to a hothead...
The hellcat has 2 rings of flames. The center ring is like the Carlisle Mini CC and the outer ring gives extra power. I use it with 2 oxycons. So yes, it is hotter and faster than the usual torches...
Nice one, Verena! :)
Well done great video and thank you... :)
Just thought I'd mention this is perfectly possible on a HotHead, so don't be shy Hot Head users! ;)

Great video, thanks for taking the time And sharing.
A beautifully presented video and the music didn't detract from the film.
A great video, very clear thanks! Where do you get the paddle with the supporting hole from? That looks like a handy widget!
It is a Smirchich (?) paddle, I bought it in Germany at Gunnar Haag's shop on ebay. Let me find the link for you.
Hi!
His shop is here: http://stores.ebay.de/farbglas-werkzeug/Werkzeuge-aus-Graphit-/_i.html?_fsub=11&_sid=44188709&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322
But he seems to have non at the moment. Sorry.
Thanks for that Verena I'll keep an eye out for them. I'm coming to Berlin in August so perhaps I can look for one while I am there.
