Hi!
This time I made a video showing how to make this kind of bead:

Oh, I am sorry! But I am sure many people prefer a written tutorial that they can print out and have beside the torch.

No worries, I'll just show the beads I made instead  ;D

very clear, thank you for sharing.

Just wondering what sort of torch are you using? It seems to melt glass 10 times faster than my minor!

Hi!
No, it doesn't. I just edited out the boring bits...
I use a Carlisle Hellcat.

I wondered this as well.....it makes my hothead look so slow!

Thanks for sharing.

Well, in comparison to a hothead...
The hellcat has 2 rings of flames. The center ring  is like the Carlisle Mini CC and the outer ring gives extra power. I use it with 2 oxycons. So yes, it is hotter and faster than the usual torches...

Just thought I'd mention this is perfectly possible on a HotHead, so don't be shy Hot Head users!  ;)

A beautifully presented video and the music didn't detract from the film.

A great video, very clear thanks! Where do you get the paddle with the supporting hole from? That looks like a handy widget!

It is a Smirchich (?) paddle, I bought it in Germany at Gunnar Haag's shop on ebay. Let me find the link for you.

Thanks for that Verena I'll keep an eye out for them. I'm coming to Berlin in August so perhaps I can look for one while I am there.
