Hi
I've got a mushroom (toadstool) tutorial in the July issue of Beads & Beyond.
Also on my website on the tutorials page I have a list of the tutorials I've had published with pictures if that helps x
And it's relly nice to know about the articles in Making Jewellery - these magazines are sealed in the shops so you often can't tell what tutorials are inside!!
yes indeed!
speaking of which, haven't got my paws on it yet (grr smiths) but
Making jewellery issue 29 July 2011 (current one) Lorna Prime flower lentil
Making Jewellery issue 30, August 2011.
"Sea Swirl Lampwork Beads" (their title, not mine!!) by me.
Advanced 12 step tutorial on fuming and using murrini.
Unfortunately vital details from step 1 and 11 have been cropped off so I've added the original pics to my Flickr album

those look fab Julie!
Thank you!
These look lovely, when's that one out then?
Looking forward to seeing this Julie, looks great. This is a great list Sabine thank you, it has just saved me money! I have been wanting to learn Manda's harlequinn technique, I can do it (sort of ish, but wouldn't dare show her) as a cab, but just couldn't do it as a bead. So... from this list have found the edition, went into making jewellery mag to look at the issue and about buying the issue when I regcognised the front cover and realised (doh) that this is one of the few jewellery making mags that I actually have ::) obviously didn't read it very thoroughly did I! ::) ;D
Ohh Julie I'm going to have to get me that one.
Just came home from holiday to this tut in MJ and it looks fab. Thanks Julie.
Oh Julie! I'd stopped buying that one and now I'm gonna have to get it again! (Well, one day I'll be making beads won't I?!)
Beads and beyond, August 2010 - Golden reflections
Learn how to create lampwork beads with silver cores, perfect for your Pandora bracelets! - Trudi
were these the ones wound directly onto the special silver cores?
Beads and beyond dec 2010 - robins - trudi
beads and beyond april 2011
heart bead - trudi
blossom beads -Sally carver
beads and beyond october 2009 - Glimmering moss
Create these amazing glistening lampwork beads in just nine steps
dont know who that was though.
anyone else got any more?
Oh, thought I'd posted this here but obviously put it on the wrong thread. ??? ::)
Beads and Beyond - April 2011: Springtime Heart by Trudi
Beads and Beyond - April 2011: Blossom Implosion by Sally/Redhotsal
Beads and Beyond - September 2010: Lampwork Heart by Laura Sparling
there was another thread somewhere, where the idea got mentioned.
Thanks Madeline. That makes sense!
And I've just realised that I've repeated what you've already done for the April B&B. Ah well, serves me right for going on the internet before my first caffeine dose.
I have started to wade through all my back copies of B&B, Making Jewellery and Bead and have started to update the first post. I will continue with this until I have done all of mine and then we can see if we can fill any gaps between us. It was actually a really interesting exercise and I am now going to make some of the beads from the tutorials.
Kazx
Can someone who knows how please make this a 'sticky' thread, so I don't lose it again before I can print it off?
Ooops! It already is! Doh!
nice one Kaz!
can I just add, the tut in bead by Nelli Rees is the same one as is in her book.
I have now completed the B&B section other than April 2008 - if anyone has a copy can they let me know what the lampwork tutorial is so that I can complete it. And let me know if they want to sell the magazine as it's the only one I am missing!!!
I will start on filling the gaps in MJ over the weekend.
Anyone subscribe to Creative Beads and Jewellery - I have a couple of copies and I know there have been lampwork tutorials in there?
Kazx
I have been sorting my mags out tonight!
Creative Beads & Jewellery Issue 2 and 3 - Sally Carver
I don't have Issue 2, but in Issue 3 Sally makes a lampwork cabochon ring
Issue 7, Rachel Bishop, using frit
Issue 11, me, Fire & Ice lampwork hearts
I have updated this list in the first post with absolutely everything I have except for The Flow - I will do those in the next few days as well.
Can anyone fill in on Bead or Creative Beads and Jewellery?
Kazx
That is amazing Kaz, thanks, I will have a closer look tomorrow.
I've got a tutorial in the August edition of Beads & Beyond!
I'm in the October Issue of Beads & Beyond

Step 3 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/glitteringprize/6210958866/) by Glittering Prize - Trudi (http://www.flickr.com/people/glitteringprize/), on Flickr
But the instructions for step 3 were cut short??? They missed out about adding creases
it should have read
Heat the end of the green stringer until it balls up, touch it to the bead and quickly swipe away to giving a leaf look. Using your razor, add a centre crease in each leaf and petal. Take your black stringer add a small dot in the centre of the flower.
Ops!
Trudi x
I've just bought the latest (November) Making Jewellery magazine and there's a lampworking supplement. Emma Green, Julie Fountain and Sean Taylor are three of the five artists in it while our own Scarlet Leonard has a "Design and create your own chain" article on page 30. For those that love owls, there a retro glass owl tut by Dee Elgie.
Ok then ... ref Jean's post in another thread this was the article I wrote for Beads & Beyond In December

I bought this before the weekend, so now I have to locate it after Tom sorted all my mags away while I was up at Enderby :o
I hate it that Making Jewellery seal theirs in a plastic bag so I can't see if there is a lampwork tute inside.
Does anyone know if there is one in this months (April or is is May?)
Linda x
Hi Linda
The June Issue of Making Jewellery has an easy lampwork project by Dee Elgie in it. It's a lentil with some swirled double helix dots.
There are a few uf Lush Julie's beads featured in the mag, but not as projects.
x
Thanks muchly, Gaynor.
It was lovely to meet you at the weekend
Linda x
Lovely to meet you too Linda. Hope your creations survived the drive home. x
Not sure if this thread is still going, but in case anyone is interested... there is a Nelli Rees tutorial in the latest issue (45) of Bead Magazine, showing how she makes lovely floral beads like these ones.
