Title: Enamels S&T
Post by: Sarah on August 22, 2010, 06:22:06 PM
Lovely Kate - the reds and yellows are gorgeous aren't they! I went all Jackson Pollock with all mine - I've shown these before but here they are:

And I confess mine have been in their bag for a very long time - I got inspired after using powders on my course with Andrea Guarino.

Apart from Purple Rose Powder (is that enamel or just very fine frit? is there a difference?) I haven't used any enamels yet, I worry that my ventilation isn't up to it - but I'm gonna be watching this thread with interest, fantastic inspiration so far.

Julie- as I understand it enamels don't react with each other but frit/powder does. I don't know that the reason for this is though.

These are enamels

Golden Blush (http://www.flickr.com/photos/flameforcefive/4804740440/) by Flame Force Five (http://www.flickr.com/people/flameforcefive/), on Flickr

And these are powders (the blue & purple rose I bought after Andrea's course)
