Title: Double heated Luna!
Post by: SuefromYorkshire on October 29, 2010, 06:15:16 PM
(http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1167/5125787339_92778b62d3.jpg) I was trying to get the lovely purply/blue look under encasement like these, doesn't always work for me!
(http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1406/5126394302_c443a4ddfe.jpg) When I wasn't able to get the blues, I heated the whole bead up again (with encasement on) until bead was just about clear. Then after pressing (went all out of shape) thus cooling a few seconds I put it back into the cool part of the flame until I got some colour. Two centre beads.
Very strange but pretty, the colour seems to be above an pale centre  ??? Has anyone else done this with Luna, or have I accidently discovered something new?  :)

Great beads - that's the way I work Luna too - as it's a striker!
