Its driving me mad! I'm trying to make a 3-column layout, which is fine, then put a full-width footer under them. I've got clear:both in the footer div, but the browser is refusing point-blank to recognise that it is there!
There are so many amazing people on this forum, I'm hoping one of you will know the answer ;D
Sorry, this is on my list of things to learn.
My Boss who was very keen for me to learn pointed me to
http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/
Hope it helps!
I've been there a few times :)
css is basically very easy, but this one thing is really giving me trouble today >:(
Sorry :(
I would ask him, but he's not here!!
Have you tried writing it from scratch? that's what I do when I can't see what I've written wrong in some code. (I have been doing a lot of that today!)
Yup, done the "from scratch" thing, still in trouble :-\
What about walking away from it and doing something else for a while?
That's what I did at about 3 this afternoon. Came back started from scratch and it worked first go!! (no I didn't go back to see where I'd gone wrong)
Just a thought, would puting another table in after the one with three columns but with just one column work?
Ask Dickie, he's totally a CSS genius..goes on courses an stuff
