Title: Sorry, more extraction - calling multi-torch people!
Post by: sparrow on August 26, 2009, 09:39:45 AM
What do people do who have more than one torch set up? Mine will be mounted about 5ft away from each other (two torches).....do you guys go for an extractor hood type set-up, or did you buy two of these hydroponic thingies??  ???

I have just the one torch at the moment and have made a hood which sits above the torch. But looking to the future, I did consider what I would do. I would do away with the hood and run the piping from a single extractor unit and tee off it to each torch and use a short piece of solid steel pipe joined to the tee mounted above and in front of each torch. Tee pieces cost about £12.50p each from pro-grow.

I have not much experience but I would opt for another fan. Just to be sure. Better to go over the top than not have enough I reckon.

Plus if you get into teaching then your mind will be set at ease the student is safe.

Thats what I would do
