Title: Cost Effective Shaping Tools
Post by: CelticGlass on March 03, 2007, 05:53:47 PM
For those who may not have or wish to spend much hard earned cash on custom made tools, this IKEA £1.99 serving tong doubles well as a lentil shaper. It was named in one of their floogal doogal wordings from the Skandabrod country, which I find as a Nation are very green and innovative. So dont think I was being racist in my interpretation of them.

Do you recall how Jim Henson took the P**s out them with the Swedish Chef Muppett. Harmless and very humerous.

This tong just needs a little tweek with strong fingers to realign the meeting point and thus render a level lentil. I think you'll find IKEA have several other nice stainless gizmo's that are good for rolling and texturing your glass also.
