I've never used a bobcat... only a minor, so can't really compare, but I do have to say how great the minor is... a proper little workhorse of a torch :)

I went for a bobcat. Pretty torch, extremely quiet, but packs a real punch when turned up. Seems very economical on gas. I can get a good range of size of flame from it too. Very pleased with mine :)

You can get a bobcat in a pretty colour  :D :D :D

I've used my FIL's minor, and compared to my minnow the flame is much bushier but I can't get it down to the pinpoint I want for more detailed work.  Also, it's still not a bushy enough flame for when I'm working on 40mm lentils or barrels over that length... which I do most of the time.  That's why I'm thinking mega-minor or bobcat... But the bobcat has the edge  :)
