Title: How do you get the nice swirly glass all wooshing around pattern?
Post by: turquoise on September 01, 2008, 10:03:17 AM
Hi
I had a go at this the other day and the bead looked dire.

How do you do it so the colours all mix up along side each other?

Well, i'm not sure what you mean exactly but are you talking about gravity beads???Got a pic as an example? For gravity beads just get them real hot and let them droop (which stretches the dots/stringers) then sort of wrap them back onto the mandrel and then shape. Sounds like i know what i'm doin don't it? LOL

Here's a pic of gravity beads i made - it's the one in the middle and on the right. A bit crap but it might be what you mean. Ignore the fugly on the left......i was trying out new things.
