Faux boro - i did hear about this many times...but do not understand what it mean really. Is boro somehow different?
How it's look like and can I make it with hot head?
Thank you
i think this refers to getting boro like effects from soft glass using frits etc...
The boro "look" is hazy, wispy, layered colours. 104 silver glass was created as the soft glass equivalent, but we can also get it with certain colours and frits. You won't do real boro on a HH, but you can do faux. Try here.

Thank you Mary It's make sense now :)
Gosh - it's been a year since I first tried this - wow!!
From lessons learned - and from Val's comments - it is best on a dark transparent base.
Make a twistie from straw yellow and firt (Straw yellow as it's reactive) - then you can either melt it in clean wraps over the base - or squggle it about (See waht you like) and encse!!
Have fun!

squggle it about ,,,,hmm how???please?
by sqiggle you can either add your twistie/stringer on the bead randomly. Or wrap it on and rake it about - then re-shape your bead.
It looks better when this layer is encased!

well i have to work on it :) i spend today's evening without big success . But I like its look any going continue
Thanks for the help :)
It works best with either straw yellow or light brown 018, dipped into iris gold frit and pulled into stringer. Try adding some silver leaf to the mix too (before or after frit). Wrap it onto cobalt, black or trans red. It might look bleh, then the colours pop when you encase it. Or try reducing before encasing for different effects.
You'll get similar effects with rubino and silver, or rubino with iris gold.
I sometimes use rubino as a core, then the stringer made with iris gold frit and light brown, then encased. It really glows, and you get lovely lilacy tones too.
so many ideas :) !!!! Well looks like i have to give up my job :)
