This bead hasn't been cored yet and just fits on the knit. If I was going to use the knit as a bracelet' I'd pass it through the hole thingy, (sorry name escapes me at the moment) a few more times going for slightly smaller holes to reduce the diameter of the knit and allow for the diameter of the core. This might be an option where money is tight instead of using a silver pandora style bracelet.

I have been thinking of it, but didn't do it yet. Good to see that it works. How did you make the clasp?
I just took the old plated clasp off. It was attached via jump rings inserted into the weave at each end. As I haven't got my tube yet, it's on back order, I hadn't gotten as far as putting a new silver clasp on the weave. Just had the idea yesterday and thought I would see what others think. The weave is flexible enough to go round a wrist.
I made a viking knit from rather thin copper wire - it is very flexible. But I would have to reduce the diameter still and have not found an answer to the clasp-problem yet...

What do you think of an S-clasp with one small oval and one big round jumpring? That could do the trick I think...
Seems OK to me. You can also make an S clasp decorated with a small bead in the middle if that's the effect you want. You could also stretch the large jump ring into an oval if you wanted using needle nose pliers.
Verena, here's a picture of an S clasp with a bead. I made it about a year ago. Sorry the picture is slightly blurry.

The thin wire goes around the clasp then over the bead to hold it in place before going round the clasp again. Hope this helps.

I think I will keep one jumpring round, so that the BHB can't slide over it, and the other oval, so that the BHB fit over it.
The only thing I need now is enough time to do this... :)
