I'm in a fritty mood ;D, and some of my Play Tray containers are running a bit low :(.
So I'm wondering what are your favourite frit blends and colours? I'm particularly loving Beady Sam's Going Loco and Mint Sparkle over transparent glass.
I do love Sams mixes but I am an old fasioned girl at heart and couldn't live without Iris Orange Raku. Oooooo how I loves that stuff! Saying that I just nipped into Sams site and she has 'Raku Blues' sounds exciting and 'Raku Riot' and oooo 'fireworks' Looks great! Oh now look what you've done :D I'm gonna have to buy with this weeks hard earned chash ;D
Oooo frit sample trays Gotta get me some of those! Anyone tried them ??? oh no which one do I neeeeeeed??

for blends other than Sam's if you fancy something a bit diffeerent try stalking Val Cox's site, me and HP got some frit samplers last week and her blends are fab, Glass diversions also do some fab samplers.
The most popular frit blend I sell is Raku Riot, and the most popular single colour is Kuglers Silver Blue.
I don't use tons of frit, but I really like Fireworks, Crocodile Rock and Earth blends, and Zimmermans Z99, Aurora Silver Aqua, Kuglers Silver Blue and Green and Reichenbachs Sea Green and Iris Amber Green are great too. I'm waiting for an order of Reichenbach frits to arrive next week sometime as one or two colours are a bit short. ;) If anyone wants to make their own Play Tray, you are welcome to send me a list of what you want. I can also make up (or adjust) blends for you if you want something in particular. :)

As for frit blends, I just adore Glass Diversions ones, theres a sampler bakc that they do with "amazon" in and all of them are LUSH! And I am not usually one for frit blends either!

I like raku riot and soft heather together, over copper green and light silver plum ;D
I love Irish amber green and bora bora frit from Val Cox.
Oooo goldstone, mint sparkle and midnight sparkle from beadysam, raku, dark raku, blue raku!!
I have some lovely new ones to be playing with too when I get a minute (thanks Tan!).
I'm liking woodland flowers from Sam over Tranparent dark green and baby pastels over pink at the mo - also deep seas

Favourite is Raku Riot. Also love concrete jungle and crocodile rock.
Just discovered dipping the melted end of the rod into the frit, melting it in and making the bead with that - love that swirly effect and also if you use transparent it makes the bead look deep and interesting.
