.........and would love some advice on buying pink glass rods.
I'd really like a cerise pink but all and any pinks are good!
Any ideas Guys!!
Thank you!!
Sam.
I'm currently in love with effetre rubino oro encased over CiM gelly's sty! It is divine and gives you the most vibrant glowing pink you could imagine!!!! I dont know if it shows in this pic though - but i do reccommend it!

I am about to test 2 different cranberry pinks for CiM, I'll get back to you when I've done it for my review of them. But its rather lush from the rod!
That is some colour Claire!

Mmmm, I've got to give that a go!
Thanks, Me too !! ;D ;D
I love the alabastro pinks too. With some pink frit, lovely!
But I need to try that combo now, Claire!
thats beautiful... i've always had a bit of a problem with pinks they seem to burn on me very easily and go all pocky!!
I use the Rubino over Effetre Baby Pink and it's lovely - really lovely cerise!
Sam,
I have got some lovely powder pink effetre special I can send you if you want to try it?
Actually that is a complete lie, I think it is blooming awful and can't get it to do anything! Sal had more luck with it than me, but PM me your address and I will send you some, I bought 1/2 kilo thinking it was nice!!!!! :-\
I find that a lot of pinks turn out to be more peachy, but I love gelly's sty and use rubino oro too - will have to try the effetre opalino - where do you get it Claire?
I tend to swirl lots of pinky shades together rather than use one..
the first has rubino oro and vetro seashell swirl,
the second is EDP - encased it looks pink,
the third is gelly's sty.
The bullseye cranberry frit is just yum, the same colour as claires pink above but use sparingly!!
all of the Bullseye pinks are stunning, almost glowing!
Theres some funky Lauscha pinks out, I'll go through my stash and see what I can find.
The effetre opalino pink, I think I got it from Moretti and More in the USA from what I recall.

Oh, I've just got some of the Bullseye confetti, but I haven't had a chance to do anthing with it yet, but it looks veeeeerrry pretty - just don't know what to fuse it with yet!
oh fab, when you do will you show us what you come up with? I love the effects of that stuff ;)
Thanks Guys!
Some really interesting replies ;D
Sam.
This is an interesting pink - has anyone heard of Gaffer glass?

If I have it correct, Gaffer is mainly for glass blowing. I have seen net shops selling it and they have other beautiful colours too.
There was a discussion on gaffer frit on here a while back...

Back in October reading that strand would have been like reading Swahili - gosh my lexicon has extended over the last few months. I now think I already have some of this stuff in my frit from Sam as I did order some of the G coded stuff. Thanks for this :)
