This year there has been some progress.
Early this spring it all looked like this:

Some weeks and some amount of work later, there was this: the "site of ancient woad distilling", as it was named elsewhere on FHF and will now forever be known.

Then there was a skip, and a load of concrete slabs and cement mixing, and now The Blue Thing is buried under a large slab. But evidently the blueness endures, as this appeared recently. (It wasn't even blue in the beginning, that part's my fault):

Soon I will know when my kit is likely to get moved here.
It is definitely on the way to being being" shedio sung blue".
Keep us updated .
Yay, great progress! I bet you can't wait to get working in there. :)
looks great! hoping to see photos of the inside soon!

I think I have all the supplies I need; the next stage is arranging to get all the stuff moved here from Mum's garage. If all goes well, everything should be up and running before Christmas.
Yay for blue shedios! Mine's blue too! ;D
Hooray! It must be like being inside a Paragon kiln! :D It looks like it will be a great space to work in.
That red rose is pretty - looks like Ena Harkness, one of my faves!

Just hope it doesn't get as hot...
Ena Harkness, eh? Thanks for the ID. It came with the house, along with a couple more like it and a couple of other ones; I like it too, it's very much my kind of colour.
Looks lovely! Very exciting - hope you get moved in and working soon.

My first shedio was blue, too! (and I'm partial to a red rose). I predict you will have many hours of fun in there ;D
The kit is now all here, set up and working fine:

Let's see how long it's going to stay this way...
Congrats on the studio. Looks great. I still think the blue D was a landing pad for little blue crafts carrying little blue crafty people.
I also think the rose is Ena Harkness, beautiful colour and scent. I have it teamed with Peace rose in white. You might want to try Blue Moon to complement the studio.

Brilliant news and a great start to 2017!
Looks fabulous, Kathy!
