Hi,
We are looking at the possibility of creating our own frit from any glass we stock,(we have the technology) Obviously there is a massive range of colours we stock from Effetre , CiM , Reichenbach and more so I thought I would ask which colours you think would be worth "fritting" first.
I had thought maybe the Effetre "specials" like EDP, Opal Yellow or Copper Green but I sure that you guys will have some more brilliant ideas, what do you suggest?
Best wishes,
Martin

Hi,
Can do
Martin
boro boro boro.. please
Some of the Effetre specials would be great - also the Effetre 'cool' colours might be very interesting as frit ?
+1 for the specials - I love the idea of EDP, opal yellow and copper green frit.
Also Sunset, Calico, Caribbean Sea, and my favourite Marmorin.

I have never tried marmorin..what does it do?
I would really like plain old ivory, before any fancy colours, although they all sound lovely. Janet
reichenbach purple rose please!
yes! ivory..often wondered what that might produce and of course EDP and purple rose

It's own thing mostly, but I love it.

Haven't tried this, but isn't the 'obvious' one Reichenbach's Iris Orange (aka raku)?
Or Magic. Or Multi.........
What sizes were you thinking of, Martin?
Some of those asked for, such as Iris Orange and Purple Rose, are already available as frit, so smashing up decent rods might not be necessary!
