Title: Perspex
Post by: Dragonfire Glass on June 19, 2014, 08:22:30 PM
We are at the stage when we need perspex for my Barley box.
it will be suspended from the ceiling and I'm after a thickness for the sheets. Not too thin, not too thick.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can't help you but what is a Barley box?

An enclosed space for torching in, or in my case partly enclosed with the airflow within the confines of the box

I used this stuff for mine, much easier to cut.

I used 5mm; generally cheaper to buy online.
Heres one: Acrylic sheet (http://www.directplastics.co.uk/acrylic-sheet)

Thank you - looking :)

WE'll have an 2100mm run hanging down a corner and a return to need it stiff enough. Will 5mm be stiff enough?
