Title: Dual fuel regulator - is it working?
Post by: Tonyb on June 10, 2014, 03:43:57 PM
Hi,

If I turn on just the propane and light my torch and then turn the regulator, should the size of the flame change at my torch? My flame remains the same size when adjusting the regulator so I'm not sure if it is working?

Thanks

Simple answer is No, The valves on the torch also set the gas flow, making it hard to see any change in the output from the regulator. As long as your getting enough gas and the regulator turns off it's not really a problem.

I have a gauge on the bottle that lets me see the gas pressure at that point, but I also have a regulator that works over a greater pressure range than required for lampworking.

The length of your candles, rather than the flame, should change
