Title: E 1 message on Paragon SC2
Post by: Edi (Edith) on October 24, 2013, 09:04:27 PM
Hello everyone I have my daft head on today and my kiln, paragon SC2 is showing E1 whan i turned it on, I havent noticed it before. I only use it 2 or 3 times a year because I only do making beads as a hobby. I have looked at the manual that come with the kiln but cant find anything.
Am I stupid or does it normally start with E1 I cant remember it doing it before.

Never seen it on mine but I just did a quick google and found this:

E1 is the software version of your Sentry Xpress 4.0 controller. It is not an error code. Earlier versions of the controller did not show the software version on start up.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's a software code before 'idle' appears. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Think mine says F1, so as long as it seems to work I'd not worry.  Never realised what the code was though.

Yeh, as I have just replied on the MAXI error thread. Almost all electronic controllers display their software version on power up.
Nothing to worry about that one.  ;D
