Title: Two tubes to one propane tank?
Post by: anditsinthefish on March 18, 2013, 08:23:40 PM
This is probably a bit of a silly question... but I'm looking into silversmithing and am developing my jewelery and wondered if I could attach a soldering head to one pipe and my torch to the other but use one tank or would I need two tanks?

Thanks, Sarah xx

Propane Gas Splitter Kit
Includes all the hose and tails/hose clips needed.

This allows you to run two or more torches from a single propane cylinder.
Fitted in line between the regulator and torch, it splits the propane hose to run off to a second torch. (you will need to purchase a second hose to connect to the torch)

In theory it possible, but i dont know how much of a draw or what special things you might need for silver soldering, but as tuffers do the kits maybe ask martin at FO :)

Your star, thank you! I only need a hot head and propane for silversmithing, so I'll be well on my way :) xx
